#1. They Say Pitbulls Eventually Turn On Their Owners.
I rescued Karma from Miami Dade Animal Services. She was a confiscation case from a “crack house” in Miami where they think she was used for breeding. She was confiscated along with other malnourished dogs and all put up for adoption. Who knows what her past is like and honestly i dont want to know.. but what I do know is that she would never harm a fly. Despite her past she is the most loving, laziest, most appreciative dog I’ve ever had.
There is ALWAYS reasons for for behavior. When aggression becomes a problem the reasons can be things such as improper handling & lack of socialization. If you are suddenly startled by a aggressive outburst, it is because you have been unaware of all the signs your dog has been giving. This is true of all dogs and not just “Pitbulls.”
Indeed, no dogs just “turn” on their owners.
#2. “Then Maybe Only Bad People Own Pitbulls.”
I’m sure Jessica Alba, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Biel, Kathrine Heigl, Tom Brady, Josh Hutcherson, Channing Tatum, Miranda Lambert, Betty White, & Liam Hemsworth would love to beg to differ.

Owning a pit bull doesn’t make you a bad person. It doesn’t take a “bad person” to own a pit bull. Owning a pit bull doesn’t make you a “thug”.. It takes a good responsible dog owner, just like owning any other dog like a yorkie or a chihuahua.
#3. “A Pitbull That Is Aggressive Towards Other Dogs Will Also Be Aggressive Towards Humans.”
FALSE. Human aggression and dog aggressive are two complete different aggressions that should NOT be confused. Just because a pit bull may not get along with other animals doesn’t mean he or she is human aggressive. Would you say a Golden Retriever is human aggressive if he or she doesn’t get along with other dogs? Doubtful. So why say something different with Pitbulls? Unless a dog has been purposely trained to attack humans, they generally love people.. especially pit bulls.
With that being said.. don’t always believe everything you hear and read. One stereotype that most pit bull owners and lovers can agree on is that when they are happy, loved, and yes fed, they are the best dogs with the best smiles.
